Maggie Killick Wears….her favourite leather jacket

This post has been prompted by last week’s “Maggie Loves”. Many of you requested some advice on leather jackets. Here is my personal favourite.It’s 4 years old, it’s from Mango (I know – I was very surprised too) and I love the simplicity, the cut and the fit. It’s my go-to jacket for Autumn and I love how it has worn – it just gets better with age – Amen to that!

There are so many styles to choose from from: whether you go for biker, collar-less, bomber, or trench-style, I would recommend:

• avoiding too many studs, zips and buckles
• sizing down as it will stretch to your shape
• buying quality: soft, beautiful leather will last – it’s all about “price per wear”
