Maggie Loves…A Luxurious Leather Skirt…
As many of you will know, I’m a real fan of leather – particularly jackets and skirts (clearly worn separately!).A leather skirt can toughen up the prettiest blouse, add edge to great knitwear and is such a versatile piece worn with boots, heels or flats.Whilst everyone will have different budgets I believe in buying the best quality you can afford – particularly with leather as it will last a lifetime and simply improve with age.
This beautiful option from Whistles is a real favourite of mine.The rich burgundy colour is a great neutral and looks stunning with grey, navy, pink, camel and black. I also love the wrap style and midi-length which gives it a modern twist.I have a very similar version in dark green.It’s in its 3rd year and I wear it endlessly with t-shirts, roll-neck knitwear, silk blouses and, white shirts (obviously)!From Spring to Winter it remains a constant - such a versatile piece that I never tire of.
