Your Invitation Awaits together with Colour Inspiration for the Season….

Whilst my summer has been fabulous, September is, by far, my favourite month of the year. I love the ‘back to school’ feeling it brings: a fresh start; a chance to reassess your life and your style and think about how you want to look and feel heading into the new season.

Whilst the sun was shining yesterday, I spent the evening previewing Jigsaw’s new Autumn/Winter Collection and boy are you in for a treat: the shapes, the colours, the textures – absolute perfection. I cannot wait to talk through my favourite pieces with you on Thursday 26th September (6.30 pm) at the Kingston boutique (36 Market Square, KT1 1JQ) I will also share tips and tricks on how to style new season pieces with those staples you already own. Tickets will be available on Eventbrite and numbers will be limited so click here if you would like to gain early accessFor those of you who are not local, fear not, next week’s Style Post is dedicated to Autumn/Winter wearable trends that will take your style to a whole new level – it’s easier than you think.

In the meantime, let me leave you with some colour inspiration for the season. If you are someone, like me, who adores black, let me tempt you with these glorious colours.

BURGUNDY/OXBLOOD/MERLOT

However you describe it – this rich shade is stunning worn head to toe or teamed with pink, red, grey, brown or blue (and black obviously)!

CAMEL/TAN/CHOCOLATE

Whilst camel has always been a favourite for Autumn it can be draining. Mixing with variations of chocolate brown and adding pops of colour (red looks fabulous) make it more wearable for all colour tones.

CORPORATE GREY

Shades of grey took centre stage on the catwalk. If you think it’s a dull neutral - think again! Again varying tonal shades, mixing textures will bring it to life. Worn head to toe or incorporating camel looks super chic, white keeps it fresh and burgundy is stunning. Job done!

Shades of blue, baby pink and 50 shades of green will be everywhere too, but that’s for next week! Until then, enjoy being inspired for a new season and I cannot wait to see many of you in September.

You're very welcome

Have a great week-end and feel free to share this post.
