The ultimate summer accessory that is versatile, stylish and always fits!

I am looking at expanding my collection and have been talking to someone who may possibly make me a handbag – yes a “Maggie Killick Style original” from my poorly drawn sketch! I’ll keep you updated on progress in future posts.

Most women I know love a handbag and usually love a particular type whether it’s a tote style (I have never been able to do small bags); a cross-over body bag; a draw-string bucket bag – the list goes on. As always I believe you should choose the individual style you love but when it comes to colour, in my opinion, every woman should own at least one(!) tan handbag.

A tan handbag:

• is striking against black;
• looks cool and expensive against white;
• is beautiful when mixed with bright colours;
• can be far more versatile than a black bag;
• improves with age – like most women’s style.
