The MKS Thank You and The Blazer that’s not just for Christmas!
As Maggie Killick Style closes its doors for 2024, I wanted to say a huge, heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you. Whether you are a regular reader (love the loyalty); or have passed it on to colleagues, friends and family (love the sharing) – thank you. My aim is to continue to develop the Style Post by introducing you to new brands and designers and to host more ‘Maggie Loves’ events – having you all under one roof would be pure joy.
To the men and women who have allowed me to rummage through their wardrobes during a Re-Work Your Wardrobe Service thank you for being brave enough and for being so joyous at the results; to those who have used my personal shopping service - yes it required stamina but boy were the results worth it; to the corporate organisations who trusted me to work with their teams to tackle the confusing messaging of ‘professional image and personal style’ and for those who are on my VIP subscription service - I love that we get to meet up regularly and I can bring you a continual service though-out the year – which goes way beyond clothes!
Finally, for those who often wonder if a Personal Stylist is for them – why not join me for a free consultation (over a glass of wine or green juice if you prefer!) and let’s find out how I can help you. It’s amazing what a conversation can do to clarify your style. Simply click here.
A final piece of Style Inspiration for 2024
My last Style Post offering ‘short cuts to creating a stylish Christmas look’ received so many comments I thought I’d reshare in case anyone missed it. If you are still looking for inspiration let me introduce you to this beauty currently on sale . You may feel velvet is a little “too Christmasy”, “too dressy” or a “special occasion” piece. For me (and now many of my clients), a velvet blazer is a wardrobe staple. Here’s how I would wear it (or the navy version) with another key staple we all have – denim. I hope it inspires you to see the versatility of a great velvet piece. Remember it’s not just for Christmas!
One Jacket 3 Ways
The Style Post will be back in early January with a new service that I cannot wait to share. In the meantime, have a wonderful Christmas – whether you spend it in a onesie or a ball gown – you know which I prefer – enjoy it!
You're very welcome
Have a great week-end and feel free to share this post.
