Small things bringing me joy…
Every now and then we all feel the urge to treat ourselves, don’t we? We want a little something that brings us joy but doesn’t cost a fortune. This week I thought I’d share a few of mine. They make a huge difference to my mood and my wardrobe and are all under £20. I hope, if you are in need of a little treat – they bring as much joy to you.
Getting my legs out!
It was lovely to feel the sun on my ‘Gatineau tanned legs’ this week. The other product I’ve been using, at night, is Aveeno body oil spray. It feels so nourishing on the skin and after two week’s use it has left my legs silky smooth and even. This has prompted me to reassess my summer wardrobe, in particular shorter dresses and skirts. Who knew such an inexpensive product would make a huge difference to what I choose to wear?
This bangle collection
I’ve always loved bangles, and I’ve just added these beauties to my collection. The colours are stunning worn together or can be mixed with gold and silver if you prefer. I always recommend wearing 1 or 3 – an odd number will always look more stylish.
Lighting this energising candle
Since returning from holiday, I’m determined to hold onto that energetic feeling. With the help of this little beauty, it’s working. I light it every morning: it’s a refreshing mix of peppermint, eucalyptus, and rosemary and boy does it leave you feeling uplifted. If you need a ‘lift’ in mood, do yourself a favour– it’s currently on sale. You’re welcome!
These cotton PJ bottoms
Every summer I buy a few pairs of 100% cotton PJ bottoms to wear at home in the evenings. I love that they:
- feel super cool and relaxed;
- work with so many of my vest tops and t-shirts;
- make me feel a little more ‘put together’ rather than wearing a matching pyjama set.
This message from Jigsaw
This Saturday I get to meet great women and help them with their style dilemmas. It brings me so much joy to be able to share tips, tricks, offer suggestions that immediately help women look and feel more confident. I will be circulating further dates soon. In the meantime, here is a sneak peek at one of my favourite pieces from Jigsaw’s New Collection. It’s asymmetric, it’s textured, and super versatile – what’s not to love? .
You're very welcome
Have a great week-end and feel free to share this post.
