Shopping Your Wardrobe - Why now is the perfect time

For the past few weeks, I have spent time with fabulous clients in need of a wardrobe ‘reset’. It is always such a cathartic experience (for them and for me) and it has inspired this week’s Style Post. For so many of us, we fail to see the versatility of clothing we own. We continue to wear a particular piece the same way – sometimes due to lack of time to experiment; sometimes because we don’t instinctively know how to outfit build, so we revert to the same combinations.
This week I took the time to restyle my chocolate brown wide leg trousers from Jigsaw. I made a conscious effort to steer clear of wearing them with black (although brown and black look beautiful together). Here is the result below. I have linked the trousers (but trust me, the website doesn’t do them justice). I wore them last week and 3 women stopped to ask me where they were from.
Layered with a knitted tank and silk shirt
Keeping it tonal sleek with colour block jumper
Adding grey and cream with a chunky knit
Keeping it chic with a roll neck and belted tweed blazer (Killick’s in fact!)
So, before you become distracted by ‘New Season Trends’ (see next week’s Style Post) why not take a look at what you already own and how you wear it? You may have some fabulous combinations waiting to be discovered. And if you need help finding them – I’m your woman!
You're very welcome

Have a great week-end and feel free to share this post.
