Practical Solutions for an Organised Wardrobe – once and for all!

So, 11 days in….are we all sorted?January is the perfect time to get your wardrobes in order.I have yet to meet someone who doesn’t love the idea of a beautifully organised wardrobe. Apart from the obvious positives: you save time getting dressed, you fall in love with your clothes again, you can see what you have and what’s needed - I believe the most important upside to an organised wardrobe is what it does for your head-space.It has been scientifically proven that being tidy and ordered with in your surroundings frees your mind, gives you a sense of calm and helps you focus. What a great start to 2019.

I’m assuming you are all sorted in terms of assessing your clothes and adhering to the “less is more” principle. If not – here’s a reminder of how to do it .

So how about treating yourself to practical storage solutions. Here are a few of my particular favourites that I love to use.I hope they inspire you to create your own beautiful space.

Under-bed Storage

I have 3 of these which, in summer, contain knitwear, long boots and bedding and in winter are replaced with summer pieces I won’t need until the following season. It’s also a great way of seeing what you actually love – when you open the box at the beginning of the season you’ll get a sense of what clothes still excite you.

Drawer Dividers

Drawer dividers are a genius idea.Once you’ve used them you’ll wonder how you ever managed without them.Whether you need to organise socks, underwear, bras – build your own combination and enjoy the sense of order!

Jewellery / Accessories cases

Whether you’re partial to fabulous sunglasses, watches or earrings – the most effective way to store them is using Stackers – choose your layout, choose your size, choose your colour – because everyone has their own unique ‘chaos’ that needs sorting!

Do remember I offer a Wardrobe Consultation Service which could be your perfect start to an organised New Year. Click here for details - you’ll love it!

Have a great week-end and feel free to share this post.
