My Top 3 Spring Accessories…

There are 3 accessories that scream Spring/Summer for me: basket bags, espadrilles, and a great pair of sunglasses. Each piece can transform a simple look and worn together, inject sunshine and glamour whether abroad or at home.

The Basket Bag

This All-Saints basket bag is stunning. I love the contrasting black straps (it does come in other colourways – but why would you?); the silver hardware detailing which gives it a designer feel; its large size and the superb quality…the list goes on. What’s not to love?

The Espadrilles

There are so many to choose from but for me Castañer are, by far, the best on the market. Their signature espadrilles have been worn by everyone from Grace Kelly to Jacqueline Kennedy and Jeanne Damas (not forgetting Maggie Killick and her fabulous clients!).

I love that they come in various heights, colours, and styles. I have pairs in red and black (obviously), but am keen to add these, less obvious, blush ones to my collection. Whilst I’m not a huge fan of wearing pastel clothing, I love the idea of these worn with denim or all white – subtle and pretty –job done!

The Sunglasses

Many of the sunglasses I own are relatively inexpensive but this year I’m hoping to treat myself and invest in this stunning pair by Prada. I love the colour and shape and believe they will make me and everything I own look ‘so damn cool’. Let’s see, shall we?
