Move over statement shoes – you’ve got competition…

When was the last time you wore statement earrings? It’s been a while since I invested in some but since London Fashion Week, where designers worked their magic - from Valentino’s dangling swords, to Balenciago’s giant fabric discs - I’ve fallen back in love with them (although I’m giving the mis-matched versions a wide berth)!

The reason I love statement earrings is similar to my love for statement shoes:

• they can lift the simplest outfit,
• they give interest and add drama to minimal clothing styles
• they look, in my opinion, even more fabulous with casual clothing such as a white shirt and jeans or a simple t-shirt and khaki chinos.

So if, like me, you’ve forgotten what great earrings can do for you, or (unlike me) you have huge diamond earrings in your safe! – get them out and see what they can do for your wardrobe. I promise you – you won’t be disappointed.
