Maggie Wears…Cargo Trousers

Recently I read an article announcing that ‘Posh Joggers’ are back! I’ve never been a fan of jogging bottoms BUT – I do love these cargo trousers which are an elevated, stylish version. I bought them in black 3 years ago and wear them endlessly. I’m delighted to see Zara has relaunched them for summer in navy and khaki, two great neutral colours for the season. If you are tempted to try a pair – do size down (they come up big – very un-Zara!) and if you need inspiration on how to wear them - here’s how I’ve been styling mine.

Keeping it effortlessly formal: black tux jacket, silky shirt, and mules

Keeping it simple: white t-shirt and espadrilles

Keeping it tonal and mixing textures: navy linen blazer, silky camisole, and a statement shoe (two in fact!)

Keeping it relaxed: oversized stripe shirt and block heels (worn earlier in the day with plimsoles)
