Maggie Loves…Etsy

How many of you are fans of Etsy? Whilst I love to support the high street, I am also keen to share great independent brands with you. Etsy showcases talented designers creating beautiful and unique items which are often difficult to find. Just recently I have been shopping on the site and thought I’d share my items with you. I hope they inspire you to browse Etsy next time you are looking for an individual stylish piece.

Linen Maxi Dress by Aakasha

I cannot wait to wear this beautiful handmade dress in the summer with some fabulous tan accessories. It comes up true to size and is available in a variety of colours – you’ll be spoilt for choice. Now pass me my shades and margarita!

Silver Bangles by Studio Jewellery by Jo

As many of you know, I’m a huge fan of a bangle (several in fact!). They are my go-to bracelet of choice. I mix them up with other charm bracelets or wear them separately depending on my mood. These beautiful solid silver bangles are made to order and come in a variety of sizes – you just need to decide how many you fancy wearing. In my opinion 3 always look more stylish than 2 (just saying) Oh, and if bangles are not your thing (really?) the brand makes beautiful earrings and rings too.

Bags 4 Joy

I desperately try to size down when it comes to handbags, yet I am continually drawn to a stylish leather tote. This brand has so many stunning variations, I’m tempted once again. They are beautifully crafted in Italian leather and minimalist in design which gives them a high-end designer look and feel. Here are just two of my favourites. I always recommend a tote bag in black, tan, burgundy or red – great neutrals that work in summer and winter. Enjoy choosing yours.

In future Style Posts I will include smaller independent brands in amongst the more established ones as I believe there is room for both. It’s all about choosing well and mixing brands together to create an individual look of your own. Do let me know if you find a brand you love – it’s always a joy to discover talented, independent designers and to spread the word.

You're very welcome

Maggie Killick

Have a great week-end and feel free to share this post.
