Jaeger brings you “tomorrow’s vintage”
This Week I was thrilled to see that Jaeger officially relaunched by joining the M&S family. It marks a new chapter for Jaeger, a brand steeped in style and heritage, and known for its bold and confident designs for over 137 years. This is such a smart move for M&S who, in terms of their clothing, has needed help for several years now. Jaeger’s quality, design, and innovation, using British fabrics and manufacturers is what M&S have lacked for some time.
The first collection is a curation of stylish and contemporary pieces for men and women including coats, dresses, knitwear and tailoring inspired by the Jaeger archives. Here are 3 of my favourites from Jaeger’s first capsule collection and rumour has it there are great new pieces in the pipeline:
The iconic camel hair wrap coat (always a classic) and also comes in rust mix;
This fabulous 60's style dress with contrast cuff and collar (made from beautiful French crepe);
The navy pea coat (the perfect wardrobe staple)
Jaeger’s Managing Director, Fiona Lambert said “We have taken the fabulous heritage of Jaeger and reimagined it with British modernity and sensorial quality that we believe will create ‘tomorrow’s vintage’.” I don’t know Fiona Lambert, but I love her ethos and am so excited for Jaeger’s future. Watch this space!
You’re very welcome
NB: Jaegar is currently available on-line and in stores nationwide from 28th October – sizes from 6 – 20 and pricing from £25 to £499.
Have a great week-end and feel free to share this post.
