How to spend a super stylish Easter…

I know we’re not expecting “Spring-like” weather for the Easter break BUT it is a 4-day week-end, so bring it on! I’m planning to catch up with friends and family, see a movie (one of my favourite past-times) and obviously eat far too much chocolate. Whatever your plans are I hope you enjoy your time and if you’re undecided as to how you’ll spend it, here are a few ideas to inspire you.

Somewhere to go

If, like me, you’re a cinema fan, the interior of the Electric Cinema will totally spoil you. The experience is just fabulous: both new and iconic movies; armchairs with footstools and side tables; two seater sofas and double beds (if sitting in comfortable chairs is just too much effort)! They also serve wine, beer and champagne – such a stylish and decedent way to watch your favourite movie.

Something to read

If you’ve decided Easter is the perfect time to de-clutter your home - STOP! Don’t do anything before you’ve read “The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying” by Marie Kondo. Oh how my husband laughed when he saw me reading this book but, honestly, it is genius. The advice is so simple and effective – trust me - you’ll only ever do it once.

Somewhere to eat & drink

If you have yet to try Blixen you’re in for a real treat. It’s a converted bank situated on the edge of Spitalfields Market. Think beautiful European grand cafes – the food is fabulous (prefect whether you want brunch, lunch or dinner). It also has a stunning conservatory or, if you prefer, a cozy basement bar offering beautiful eclectic wines and cocktails. The buzz, the service, everything about this place makes it cool, stylish and fun.
