How do you want to feel this Autumn/Winter?

How do you want to feel this Autumn/Winter?

Welcome to the first Style Post of September. Whilst I love the bright summer mornings and the light evenings, there is something I find quite special about September. I know it’s a cliché, but I feel it’s the chance to start over: to master the autumn/winter wardrobe; to re-evaluate what you want from the new season – not just in terms of clothing but how you spend your time and what you want to achieve. It may sound unrealistic and indulgent but if you prioritise time for you, to take care of yourself, to focus on something you love, everyone in your life will benefit.

Here are just 5 suggestions that include new habits; solving solutions; and generally getting ahead of the game for Autumn/Winter. I hope they inspire you to find yours.

Block-book Appointments for the rest of the year

I spend an hour or so going through my diary to book appointments for dentist/hygienist; hairdresser/ colourist; and regular beauty treatments (waxing, eyebrows, facials etc). Yes it takes a village! I appreciate life is busy, gets complicated and can be unpredictable but even more reason to create structure for the simple things that help us look and feel better.

Book a ‘free’ Style Consultation

Autumn/Winter is the perfect time to reassess your style. Are you feeling stuck in a rut? Do you feel frumpy or invisible? Lost in terms of choosing clothes relevant for your lifestyle? My job is to help navigate those feelings and leave you invigorated and confident for the season ahead. Don’t spend another autumn/winter wishing you looked more stylish. Simply click here to book a free 30 minute consultation. It would be a joy to help you.

Take Care of Your Body

We are inundated with images of ‘perfect bodies’. Often these images have been altered, are unhealthy and unachievable. Why not decide that this is the season to be kinder to your body. Find a class, a trainer (in my opinion, that trainer should be Jem Scragg) or create a simple routine for yourself that will make you feel fitter and healthier in the next few months. Trust me – you won’t regret it and neither will your mind or body.

Introduce a new beauty treatment

Whether it’s a body cream, facial oil or hair product – incorporate something that smells divine and invigorates your senses – otherwise it will just sit on your shelf like all the others! This is one of my favourite, inexpensive products for autumn/winter. It helps nourish and unwind an overworked body and mind. Who doesn’t need that?

Invest in the perfect jeans to transform your new autumn/winter wardrobe?

The one item that will see you through Autumn/Winter is a fabulous pair of jeans. Ones that fit you perfectly, offer incredible versatility and give you that jolt of confidence every time you wear them. If you have yet to find yours – click here for my style guide for denim and to find out more about this service.

You’re very welcome
