BLACK FRIDAY SALES ARE HERE – HOLD YOUR NERVE

It’s that time of year again…discounts galore, emails flooding in tempting us to grab ourselves a bargain. There’s a huge thrill in getting discount on something you adore but try not to get swept up in the madness of it all this week-end. If you really love something, then go for it but ask yourself – Would I love it if it wasn’t discounted? If not – step away, resist the temptation and wait for that piece of clothing or accessory that fills you with joy every time you wear it.

I’m a great believer in keeping a wish list throughout the season – a list of those items you love but may be out of your price-range. These are the items to save for or look out for during this weekend. For me, and many of my clients, they are luxurious staples (leather jackets, coats, boots, and cashmere). Here are just a few of my favourites to give you some inspiration but remember – if you don’t love it – leave it and save for that beautiful piece that injects new life into your wardrobe. Now that’s a real bargain.

And finally, 3 brands that are boycotting Black Friday and donating a percentage of their sales to chosen charities. It’s your choice but whatever you buy – love it and enjoy it.
