BLACK FRIDAY – RESIST THE PANIC BUY

Many brands are choosing to opt out of Black Friday this year and I can see why. I’ve never been a fan of fast fashion. I have always tried to adhere to buying less and buying better. Don’t get me wrong, I understand the need for a fashion fix every now and then but if we really think about the clothes we love they tend to be those that we have invested in: those quality pieces that are cut beautifully, make us feel fabulous and never let us down.

You will be inundated by discounts for a limited period – this will make many of us panic buy. I don’t want to be a killjoy here, BUT, try not to get swept up in the madness of it all. If you really love something, then go for it but ask yourself – Would I love it if it wasn’t discounted? If not – step away, resist the temptation and save for that piece of clothing or accessory that fills you with joy every time you wear it.
