BEFORE YOU ARE TEMPTED TO BUY A FABULOUS NEW COAT…

My name is Maggie Killick and I own way too many coats! There, I’ve said it. We all have a particular item we’re drawn to, don’t we? For some it’s shoes, for others it’s handbags, jeans, boots - for me, it’s always a great coat. I love that you can throw it over anything and feel pulled together. However, before I’m tempted to add to my collection - this week, I’m going through all my coats and donating those I no longer wear to Wrap Up London, an incredible charity that warms my heart and those of many others.

So, before you rush out to buy a new coat or add one to your Christmas list – please think about donating ones you no longer wear. Every coat donated will go straight to those who need it most: the homeless, refugees, the elderly, people fleeing domestic violence, and those at risk through living in poverty.

You have until 28^th November to donate and it’s so easy. Simply click here to find your nearest drop off point. Alternatively arrange for your coat to be collected from your home. A coat doesn’t just provide warmth, it is often a gateway for someone to access services to help them get back on their feet - how wonderful is that?
