Bank Holiday Indulgence…
As we get ready for a fabulous bank holiday weekend, I thought I’d share just a few of my favourite things that will be bringing me joy. I hope you get time to relax and enjoy spending it, your way. Bring it on…
Where I’ll be…
As you will know, from last week’s Style Post, I will be at Jigsaw Kingston on Saturday so do pop in and say hello if you’re in the area – it would be a joy to see you and raise a glass to the incredible Jigsaw team on their 1 year anniversary. To those who emailed to say they would like a style consultation but cannot make the date – fear not – you are on the list for next time.
What I’ll be trying…
A new body scrub. Whilst I tend to stick to my favourite face cleanser (Caudalie - in case you’re interested), when it comes to body washes and exfoliators, I love to experiment. With a long weekend ahead, I’m about to start the Tonic Sugar Polisher by Clarins. It smells incredible (that’s half the joy) and promises to leave skin feeling soft, smooth and nourished - I’ll let you know if it does!
What I’ll be drinking…
A margarita or two. If, like me, you tend not to make them at home, Moth cocktail cans come highly recommended. I’ve heard the negroni is fabulous but if undecided – selection packs are available in most supermarkets – you’re welcome!
What I’ll be wearing…
My new Jigsaw Italian linen trousers. They are super chic, comfortable and so versatile. I am planning to wear them on repeat thought-out summer, kicking off with a shirt and sandals for Sunday lunch with friends.
What I’ll be eating…
I’m never one to plan meals, but I am someone who plans to eat chocolate on a regular basis. I’ve become obsessed with this particular bar thanks to my husband. It comes in milk and dark chocolate and 100% of sales fund a better way for cacao farming – one that’s positive for nature and for farmers. What’s not to love?
Happy Bank Holiday Weekend
Have a great week-end and feel free to share this post.
