All I want for Christmas…
I love Christmas and the madness that comes with it: writing Christmas cards (usually with a Baileys and chocolates by my side); the shopping (obviously!); the wrapping of gifts (oh how I love to wrap a gift - the more ribbon and tissue paper the better). I love it all – apart from the cooking – never quite mastered that. So back to the gifts…
Many people find the hardest part of present buying is actually coming up with a gift idea. For me, who is often told I’m difficult to buy for, the perfect gift is not necessarily the huge expensive one (although I love those too)! It’s the treat gifts - those little luxuries that we never get around to buying ourselves. So with this in mind – here are some ideas for the woman you know who you think is difficult to buy for – trust me she isn’t!
These gorgeous boxes from Oliver Bonas make everyone want to organise their jewellery collection.
Nothing beats a fabulous new lipstick (especially a red one). Check out Charlotte Tilbury’s stunning new shades – you’ll be spoilt for choice.
Your tea will never taste the same again. T2 has the most stunning designs of tea cups and mugs to suit everyone.
New Year – New Notepad that’s what I say. In fact I never need an excuse to buy one. Each Christmas I receive a personalised one which I adore.
It’s up there with a new lipstick as a gorgeous Christmas gift. I have several Smith & Cult nail polishes displayed on my bathroom shelf – the bottle design is so chic and the colour selection is stunning.
Ok so these gloves by Hush may not be the most practical for warmth (but who needs practical in their lives – it’s Christmas). They’re soft, stylish and come in a variety grey shades – charcoal marl being my personal favourite.
These candles by Nars smell divine and the matte casing makes them look so chic on any coffee table. My favourite is the black version as I’m a huge fan of vanilla-based scents but the red and white versions are also gorgeous.
Happy Christmas Shopping – just call me when you want me to wrap!
Have a great week-end and feel free to share this post.
