A Few of My Favourite Things…
Well, here, we are – the last Bank Holiday week-end and boy do I intend to enjoy it. I have many plans and events coming up for MKS for Autumn/Winter but for now I thought I’d share just a few of my favourite things that will be bringing me joy this week-end.
What I’ll be wearing… my go-to relaxed uniform – boyfriend jeans and a black sleeveless top. If you have yet to find the perfect jeans check out my style posts on the subject : Denim Update Part 1 – Style Inspiration and Part 2 your questions answered. Do get in touch if you need a jean shop. Once you find the right ones for you, they’ll be the gift that keeps on giving.
What I’ll be buying…These beautiful flats from Massimo Dutti. I shared them on the Style Post a few weeks ago and tried them on last week. They are super flattering, comfortable and look amazing with dresses and skirts as well as trousers and jeans. If these are not for you (why not?) Massimo Dutti have a great collection of flats coming through for Autumn.
What I’ll be drinking…
Whilst I’ll be out with girlfriends on Friday night which will involve a margarita or two, I have been searching for a fabulous non-alcoholic drink – this maybe the answer (judging by the feedback). I will report back Oh, and if ginger isn’t for you – there’s an alternative that sounds delicious. The website offers amazing recipes too – now pass me the cocktail shaker!
What I’ll be using…Many of you will know I love a great body oil and having tried a sample of this one I immediately treated myself. It feels so hydrating, quickly absorbs, and leaves your skin velvety smooth. Oh, and did I mention the smell - notes of vanilla and almond – incredible. The oil comes in two sizes, there’s 15% off your first order with Kiehl’s and they will always give you samples to try. A long week-end is the perfect time to try out a new beauty product to see if it works for you - I hope you love it as much as I do.
What I’ll be working on…I say working on, it’s a joy to continue to develop the ‘MKS oversized white shirt’. It’s a slow process but I cannot wait to share it with you. As loyal clients and readers of the Style Post, you’ll obviously be the first to know. In the meantime, an image that continues to inspire me to create it. Thanks Audrey.
I hope you get to relax and enjoy your weekend, your way. In next week’s Style Post, I will be sharing what’s coming up for Maggie Killick Style for Autumn/Winter. I’m super excited for the new season: beautiful new collections, Maggie Loves events and new services which I hope you will love. Until then, have the best time – you deserve it.
You're very welcome
Have a great week-end and feel free to share this post.
