When Fashion & Art come together…An evening with Jigsaw
This week I had the pleasure of visiting Jigsaw’s flagship boutique on the Kings Road. The event, hosted by Beth Butterwick, their CEO gave me hope for the British High Street. Beth talked about : Jigsaw’s mission to create clothing that lasts a lifetime; their commitment to sustainability and the brilliant initiatives that are in place including: Jigsaw Forever, Repair & Rewear, Resell, Rental, joining My Wardrobe HQ and so much more. The passion and commitment were both impressive and inspiring.
The store is stunning, it felt so decedent browsing in such a beautiful space. It made me realise how much the High Street needs to focus on the experience for customers if they want to get people through the doors.
Jigsaw showcased an exclusive preview of stand-out pieces from their upcoming collection alongside an exhibition of artwork by Sharan Ranshi : a British Indian artist renowned for her maximalist illustrations. Sharan is a recent Jigsaw collaborator. I love how art and fashion was celebrated.
Here are just a few pieces I loved – from a classic trench, to vibrant colour, to statement prints and jewellery. Enjoy! I hope Jigsaw continues to fly the flag for British fashion – a true heritage Brand with a modern twist. Amen to that!
Finally, those of you who loved the Jigsaw Collagerie collaboration are in luck - they are back with a Spring/Summer collection.
You’re very welcome
Have a great week-end and feel free to share this post.
