Maggie Loves…Fringe Rebels

This week’s Style Post is dedicated to my fabulous stylish mate Jo, who has partnered with her equally stylish friend, Sarah to create Fringe Rebels. I first met Jo when she ran a beautiful boutique in Kingston – taking one look at her, together with her 20 year career in retail and fashion, I knew she was destined to launch her own business.

Fringe Rebels was born from two friends who not only share their love of a great fringe hairstyle but who love clothes, ooze style and know what cuts and styles work when it comes to beautiful, sustainable clothing. They have put their heart and soul into creating edgy but feminine t-shirt designs and this is just the beginning. I am so impressed with the cut and quality of my ‘rebel t-shirt’ worn above. So much so, that I will be collaborating with them to create the FIRST Maggie Killick Style t-shirt to add to the clothing line. Click here to be the first to know when the t-shirt launches.

Here are just a few of Fringe Rebels designs I love. Check out their Instagram page and DM them to order. Sizing is true to size but if in doubt the girls will gladly advise you. Pricing is £25 (plus postage) for t-shirts and £45 (plus postage) for sweatshirts: great pricing for high quality, sustainable clothing. They also offer tote bags and cosmetic bags (from £18 plus postage).

My personal favourite is the ‘Rebel’ collection – could it be the red lips? But there are lots of stunning designs (including ‘lips’ ‘butterfly in bloom’ and ‘be wild’) and plenty more to come.

I was so impressed by the t-shirt shape with fitted roll sleeve – super-flattering on the arm and their sweatshirts come in either a dropped-shoulder, slightly oversized version or, if you prefer, a longer version that is a slightly slimmer fit. They have clearly thought about what works to flatter and it shows.

Whichever design you choose, rest assured Fringe Rebels has thought hard about sustainability and found wholesalers who can produce clothing that is both high quality and eco-friendly. Their Earth Positive label is 100% organic cotton that has been manufactured using renewable green energy from wind and solar power.

Keep a stylish eye out for what is to come for Fringe Rebels. They will be building a website and adding new designs to complement their existing pieces. I cannot wait to share how I am styling mine on their Instagram page.

Let me know how you wear yours.

You’re very welcome

Maggie Killick

Have a great week-end and feel free to share this post.
