Independent Female Designers all under one roof…in London until 30th April

Back in October you may remember I introduced you to Charlotte Zimbehl, a hugely passionate and gifted coat and jacket designer. Since October Charlotte has been busy creating her latest Collection and showcasing it in Paris. Her brand goes from strength to strength with her most ‘fashionista’ style mac being shown in Vogue and worn by Red Magazine’s Sophie Hooper at London Fashion Week.

I am truly delighted for Charlotte because I know how much effort, dedication and resilience it takes to create a Clothing Collection and I know how much she loves every piece she creates. I have yet to see Charlotte’s Spring/Summer Collection up close but have already chosen my favourite piece – her Spring edition of the ‘Marlene’ . This cool mannish coat in pastel pink (with sleeves of brown wool check) is the ultimate in mixing ‘classic with a cool twist’.

This month (until 30th April) Charlotte will be showcasing her Collection in London. The venue is ‘Collective+‘ (a pop-up concept store at 56 South Molton Street, Mayfair, London). Her clothing will be in good company, amongst the following unique brands.

Marinas Skia
Faber Novella
Stacy Chan

I love the fact a collaboration of independent brands, headed up by female designers ,have a home to show off their designs and stunning craftsmanship. I will be checking out the store next week and will keep you posted on purchases! If you pay a visit to the store introduce yourself to these great talented women and let me know if you find something gorgeous – it’s good to share!

Have a great week-end and feel free to share this post.
