How to feel better about expensive style mistakes
I feel incredibly fortunate to work with great clients. They have many things in common: they’re bright, funny, kind and clearly, incredibly stylish. They also love a bargain (who doesn’t?) and have all, prior to meeting me(!) made expensive mistakes regarding clothing.
Are you someone who:
- panic buys expensive outfits for weddings; black-tie dos; work events – and never wears them again;
- orders clothing on-line, is disappointed with the outcome, but never gets around to returning them;
- picks up a sale bargain which you vow to slim into or get altered – and do neither;
- receives expensive gifts which are not your style but you don’t have the heart to say so.
If you can relate to any of the above – you definitely need to check out my new find www.hardlyeverwornit.com. This is the place to go to buy and sell pre-owned luxury items. They offer a simple process for buying and selling and have received excellent press feedback. You can search by designer; unworn items with tags only; price etc. Here are just a few items I loved on the website (all under £300.00) they include: Prada wedges; Stella McCartney dress; Armarni handbag; Ray Ban sunglasses; Ralph Lauren shirt; and a Chloe Coat.
One of the great things about this company is all items listed on the website are carefully screened by their team, before approval, to guarantee authenticity.
So, rather than beating yourself up about expensive mistakes or before you invest in a designer piece why not take a look. Enjoy!
Have a great week and feel free to share this post.
