Chic and stylish, without the designer price tag
Whilst I am a huge advocate for buying less and buying better I do love it when I find a stylish piece that looks way more expensive that its price tag! Here are 5 items I have spotted recently that I love and that will look chic and stylish for seasons to come. I hope it inspires you to find yours.
The Dress: This black dress will look beautiful now with sliders or espadrilles and when the weather changes (boy do we know it changes!) wear with a leather jacket and ankle boots.
The Shoes: These patent leather Mary Jane shoes will look fabulous with cuffed denim and a white shirt – adding a pop of colour to a classic look. Job done!
The Shirt: Can I add another white shirt to my collection? I am so tempted by this dramatic style: such a beautiful cut that will look fabulous with high-waisted trousers or a great leather skirt.
The Bag: This summer rafia bag is stunning. It’s a great size (it does come in smaller but, why? why would you?). I love that it is so sturdy and beautifully finished with tan leather handles which make it look way more expensive than its price tag.
The Necklace : This chunky silver necklace is so versatile – looks amazing with a white t-shirt and jeans and equally fabulous with a strapless dress or trouser suit.
I hope this Style Post reminds you that being stylish is not about having a wardrobe of expensive designer pieces. It’s about choosing wisely, taking time to look for pieces that you truly love and mixing them with quality staples to create your own unique look.
